This song, as written by Richard Thompson describes a fateful love story involving a rare Vincent Black Lightning motorcycle. In 1952 there were only 65 made. All are still on the road. The two best versions are Thompson himself using an alternate tuning and finger picking. The other version is that of Del McCoury, a wonderful power driven version.
